Then God said, “Let Us make man”. Gen 1:26
The Us mentioned in this scripture verse is the Godhead.
1. The Father: The one and only true sovereign God.
2. The Son: Jesus Christ, or the Word of God.
3. The Holy Spirit: The Spirit of God.
All three supreme beings also called the Godhead, were in the beginning before the earth was formed. Each played a part in the creation story of the heavens, earth, sea, and everything in it. All three were mentioned in the book of Genesis when the heavens and the earth were being created.

For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.
