KNIT
The Hebrew word for KNIT is QASHAR (Pronounced KAW-SHAR’)
Qashar means: to bind, league together, conspire. And all speaks of 2 or more people united in mind, with one common goal.
Other Bible translation used words like COMMITTED, MADE STRONG, TIED, BOUND, JOINED TOGETHER
It’s the same word used in 1 Samuel 18:1 that says, And the soul of Jonathan was KNIT with the soul of David.
Some have it to say, and even go as far to teach, that this KNIT means, David and Johnathan had an unhealthy love for each other, like the love a man has for a woman. But consider 1 Chronicles 12:17 where the same word KNIT was used for men from the tribes of Judah and Benjamin, who came out to MEET AND SUPPORT David when he became king of Israel.
In Verse 17, David says “if you come peaceably unto me, my heart shall be KNIT (united TLV) unto you. But if you come to betray me…..the God of our fathers look on and rebuke you.
This knitting of the heart is about becoming united in a cause, working towards the same outcome, whether war or love.

Judges 20:11 So all the men of Israel were gathered against the city, knit together as one man.
