The Great Rejection part 1

Matthew 7:21-27 says, Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven” and “Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied, cast out demons, and done many wonders in Your name? I will declare to them, I never knew you, depart from Me you who practice lawlessness!”

God is very intentional in what he caused to be recorded. He placed mysteries throughout the bible and key verses that will unlock those mysteries, proving that every scripture has a great purpose.
There are a few things to consider in order to understand this group that would be rejected.

1. They operated in spiritual authority/the gift of the Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:1-11
2. Though they never had a relationship with God, He chose to use them.
3. The prophecy of the pouring out of the Spirit in the book of Joel.

Sometimes its easier to believe and teach, that only believers would be used by God but that’s not altogether true. There are scriptural examples that destroy this doctrinal teaching. Remember Judas in Mat 10:1-2? one of Jesus’ disciples who was given authority to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, and cast out demons. In Luke 10:17 they came back with a great report saying, that the demons submitted to the name of Jesus. John 6:64 tells us, Jesus knew that Judas didn’t believe from the beginning, yet it was God’s will to use Judas anyway; and Jesus always does the will of His Father in heaven.

Those who would be rejected would be like Judas; they will do mighty works in Jesus’ name, in-spite of living a disobedient lifestyle. This spiritual authority will cause them to believe that they would enter into God’s Kingdom. But sadly, they will be rejected.
I’m just saying.
