Everything could be used for good and evil, even our abilities. Take the Holy scriptures for instance. Someone intent on disobedience can take a verse and use it to justify their unrighteous lifestyle. This has become the story of the World Wide Web.
The World Wide Web has changed the way we interact with one another. It is difficult to imagine a world without it. It is said that the Web is the fulfillment of Bible Prophecy; that it is the conduit for the Gospel, because there is nothing greater today that can spread the Good News to every Region as fast as the web. That is the key to its significance.
We can look at the internet as evil, and the devil’s platform, but that would be limiting the possibilities of the web. Today we can do so many things we were not able to five, even ten years ago; it keeps progressing. We go into the stores, banks, public transport etc. where evil takes place all the time. But we are still able to look beyond and see the importance of each and use our time with or in each wisely. The world we live in is filled with all levels of evil, and we still live here.
The web is not the devil’s playground unless we let it. We should fight back by flooding it with good and positive information, lest we get pushed out. Let the war with good prevail over evil on the web.
Jesus is always addressing those responsible for encouraging evil behaviors. You may not understand or even believe, but you are accountable to Him. He continues to say, “you have done well in making this platform available. But I have this against you”. And every single issue from hate, division, deception, pornography, misinformation, murder, slander, blaspheme, destruction of any kind, and on and on, will be on that list.
And like He told the seven churches in the Book of Revelation “He who has ears to hear let them hear”.
